What is a Verified Car Seller?
To protect against internet scams we have created a series of tests to ensure the
seller is in possession of the vehicle and not trying to scam you into sending money.
What does that mean?
You can shop with confidence knowing that the listing has been authenticated by
one of several ways; we have been in contact with the seller or they have followed
all our guidelines. Be advised that not all sellers without "Verified Car Seller"
are fake. We strongly encourage you to report any suspicious activity.
Who has a "Verified Car Seller" badge?
All well-known auto dealerships with verified address and proper credentials have
"Verified Car Seller" badge. Also, private sellers who have passed our screening
process and follow our guidelines will have "Verified Car Seller" badge.
